BEFORE TRYOUTS

All athletes must purchase a USAV tryout membership through SportsEngine before participating in tryouts for any USAV member clubs.

If an athlete is trying out for multiple clubs, they must fill out the required multi-club tryout form and submit to Palmetto region prior to the first tryout.

USAV AGE DEFINITIONS

USAV age of eligibility is age of the athlete on JULY 1ST.

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006 and a high school student in the 12th grade or below during some part of the current academic year are eligible to compete in 18U.

We highly recommend that players play with their grade when possible. For example, if your player is eligible by birth to play 14U but is going into the 9th grade, we recommend that they play with their class in 15U.

*Grade is not a determination of eligibility, only a reference for age in most circumstances.
